About Dr. LaSalle
Angela LaSalle is board certified in Integrative Medicine and Family Medicine. She is a guest and keynote speaker on a variety of medical topics and women's health issues and provides interviews for TV, radio and print media.
Dr. Angela LaSalle is Medical Director of Parkview Physicians Group Integrative Medicine clinical division located at the Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
A graduate of Indiana University School of Medicine, Dr. LaSalle obtained her board certification in Integrative Medicine through the American Board of Integrative Medicine® (ABOIM®). She is one of only 121 integrative medicine physicians nationally to obtain the inaugural certification. Integrative Medicine has recently been recognized by the American Board of Physician Specialties (ABPS), which is the official certifying body of the American Association of Physician Specialists. Physicians board-certified by ABOIM have demonstrated their mastery of knowledge, competencies, experience and commitment to integrative medicine. Dr. LaSalle also has a fellowship in Integrative Medicine through the University of Arizona, a program founded by Andrew Weil, M.D.
Dr. LaSalle holds an A.A.S. and B.S. degrees in Nursing from Indiana University - Purdue University. She worked in Surgery, Burn Unit and inpatient Substance Abuse as a Registered Nurse prior to entering medical school. After her residency, Dr. LaSalle worked as an urgent care physician until her love of holistic medicine prompted her participation in the Integrative Medicine fellowship. "It felt like the best of both worlds," she states. "Finally, I could return to the holistic focus I had learned in nursing and combine it with the biochemical focus from my medical training".
