After a record breaking attendance of more than 120 for the spring symposium, IPS looks forward to their fall event with expectations of a repeat performance.
"Psychiatric Aspects of Women's Health Care" will feature a panel of three speakers addressing a range of topics touching women's health. Dr. Mary Helen Davis ( Kentucky ) will present her talk, "In Sickness & In Health: Overviewing Common Psychiatric Disorders in Women with Comorbid Medical Conditions". Dr. Angela LaSalle (Indiana Health Group) will discuss depression and menopause and the use of bio-identical hormones. Finally, IPS member, Dr. Heather Fretwell, will speak on the impact of trauma on women's health issues.
This 4.0 CME/CEU accredited symposium will be hosted in conjunction with the Indiana State Medical Association's Annual Convention.
*A 15 minute question and answer session will immediately follow each speaker's presentation.
