A graduate of Indiana University School of Medicine, she received her fellowship in Integrative Medicine through the University of Arizona, a program founded by Andrew Weil, M.D.

Hailing from Fort Wayne, Indiana, Dr. LaSalle's focus has been in the field of Endocrinology, with special emphasis on the interplay of hormones, nutrition and lifestyle on the balance of the neurotransmitters and the immune system.

Named "2009 Readers' Choice for General Practice Doctor's Office" and "2008 Readers' Choice for Top Physician" by the Fort Wayne News Sentinel and Journal Gazette, Dr. LaSalle brings her practice from Fort Wayne to Indianapolis in order to expand the delivery of Integrative Medicine services to Indiana and Midwest residents.

She recently joined the clinical staff at the Indiana Health Group (IHG) in Carmel, Indiana, to provide a multidisciplinary approach and more comprehensive therapies to patients with mood and concentration issues, hormonal imbalances and metabolic or nutritional issues. Her practice includes assessment of thyroid, adrenals, treatment of metabolic syndrome, bioidentical hormone replacement as well as comprehensive nutritional assessments.

Dr. LaSalle holds an A.A.S. and B.S. degrees in Nursing from Indiana University - Purdue University. She worked in Surgery, Burn Unit and inpatient Substance Abuse as a Registered Nurse prior to entering medical school. After her residency, Dr. LaSalle worked as an urgent care physician until her love of holistic medicine prompted her participation in the Integrative Medicine fellowship. "It felt like the best of both worlds," she states. "Finally, I could return to the holistic focus I had learned in nursing and combine it with the biochemical focus from my medical training".

Dr. LaSalle further focused her practice by joining Fort Wayne Endocrinology in 2004 and provided integrative services for patients with thyroid, diabetes, metabolic and menopausal issues before joining Indiana Health Group in 2009. She is the co-founder and chairman of the board for the non-profit organization, Alliance for Research in Music Medicine, Inc.
